Overview

Led by New York Times assignment photographer Justin Mott, this private two-day photography workshop is designed for photographers who want a focused, immersive experience in Hanoi with dedicated one-on-one instruction.

The workshop emphasizes visual storytelling, real-world observation, and decision-making through structured assignments and daily review. Across two days, participants work in varied environments, allowing time to slow down, refine their approach, and build visual consistency.

This is a working photography workshop, not a tour. The pace is deliberate and practical, with an emphasis on making photographs with clarity and intention in active, real-world settings.

Justin provides on-site guidance, structured shooting assignments, and daily review sessions, drawing from his experience working on editorial and long-form documentary assignments throughout Vietnam and internationally.
